As Wi-Fi territory increasingly overlays public spaces in the cities, it should be considered as new, virtual urban space, influencing the physical. By materialising the data use in Wi-Fi Hotspots, a new spatial situation emerges: obstructing, bridging and sheltering, the virtual layer is reclaiming its space in the analogue urban realm.
