Andrew Barrington The Urban Dessert
An avocado farm within the food desert of Visitacion Valley creates a visual and physical spectacle that tackles issue of food distribution and encourages visitors to eat the nutritious fruit. Consumer research of attitudes towards food, corporate fast food branding and images of idyllic farming informed the design.
